Orphan Sunday from Christian Alliance for Orphans on Vimeo.
This Sunday is the designated "Orphan Sunday" for this November, National Adoption Month. To commerate the occasion, Steven Curtis Chapman, Jim Daly, Dennis Rainey and others are teaming up to produce an event from Nashville which will also be available live via satellite and webcast. What better way to celebrate orphan ministry and adoption this month than to hear from people like these with an amazing passion to Show the Hope of Christ to those in need? For complete details or to find an event site near you, please visit the Orphan Sunday website.
Have a blessed Sunday worshiping our great Savior and being encouraged and renewed in your vision to serve some of the world's neediest group of people, through Christ's power and for His sake!

I can't wait for the webcast!!! I am so glad they are making it available, otherwise I would be taking a road trip, 10 hours there and back, haha.
I just got this message and thought of you. I LOVE NEW DAY FOSTER home. They took in a little boy we were trying to adopt who is very very sick and have provided so much love and nurturing while we work on getting him to the US on a medical visa while we wait for his parents (another family) to come and get him. Blessings, April

Subject: Summer Internships!
We are now accepting applications for our 2010 Summer Internship Program!
If you or somebody you know has a heart to come and serve in China next summer, we are looking for volunteers beginning in mid May. We are so thankful for all the people who come from around the world to come and serve with us - we could not do our work effectively without volunteers!
Please see the link below for more specific information - we are accepting applications until January 15.

Thanks for the info, April! My friend Kaisha and I did want to go back to China sometime as interns at an orphanage, but we think we're going to do it at the Philip Hayden Foundation (which is where we went this past summer...it's much like New Day, I think). However, if our plans change, this is a great opportunity to know about!
Thanks!
