Gotcha Day!!

Today, December 21, is my sweet girl's Gotcha Day. In adoption terms, that is a nickname for the very first day that a little one meets his or her forever family. I cannot believe that this day has already dawned for Anna-Claire (Niu Niu)....but I have pictures to prove that it has really happened!! :) I'm crying over how sweet these photos are and marveling again at how, even after years of hearing stories and seeing pictures of families united through adoption, I still get the chills every time I see a new little miracle taking place!
A sweet couple carrying the hope of parenthood and a little girl's face in their heart, months of paperwork and anticipation, phone calls and emails and prayers crisscrossing the globe back and forth, and a journey of thousands of miles across the world culminates in one incredible moment...
