Dear Perry:
Right now it's the middle of the night where you are. I can picture you lying in your little bed at Shepherd's Field, your chest rhythmically going up and down as you rest up for another day of keeping the House of Peace ayis on their toes chasing after you and your mischievous buddies.

(Wearing the little sweater I sent him for his b-day...so cute!) :)
You will probably ride a little car in the cement courtyard, slobber over a cucumber half at snack time, and play on the little foam mats outside your house. Maybe some visitors will be there to sing songs or tickle your tummy, or one of the doctors will come by for a quick "how are you doing today?" check-up. In short, you will most likely wake up to a very ordinary day of life at Shepherd's Field. But little do you know, that these last few days while you've been playing and sleeping and eating as normal, something Extraordinary has been happening many miles away. God has been working behind the scenes in preparation for something Big. He has called people you haven't even met yet to take you as their own, to be your mommy and daddy and siblings and love you as part of their family *forever*. While you are still little "Perry"...a beloved and cute resident of SF and my sweet sponsor boy, you have also become something else much more precious...a son. God has worked through dozens of people, across multiple continents, and through your entire life to bring you this miracle of adoption. I can't wait to watch your story unfold, little man...it is going to be amazing beyond words!

Love and kisses and hugs in person soon,
Your sponsor Sissy

Oh sweet Annie,
As you can well imagine, I am here crying my eyes out covered in chills! God is amazing and sovereign and beyond our most lofty dreams perfect! That He would choose this precious boy to be our son and allow us to find you is just too big for me to fully take in. To say I am thankful is so simple yet so true! Thank you for loving him and being a precious sissy to him. I pray for you as you prepare to travel late this spring. May God before you and prepare the way. I pray His richest blessings on your life, your family, and all who take care of our son @ PHF!!!
In His Love,
Sharon

Annie,

Oh my goodness, you brought tears to my eyes and covered my arms in goosepimples (as we call them)! You also brought a joy to my heart as the memories of waiting for our little ones flooded my mind. We know the feelings of anticipation, joy, unsure of the unknown, and the sheer awe at the amazing work of our Heavenly Father to give us such precious little ones! I am going to peek at the blog of the family who is bringing this precious boy home and hopefully follow his journey a little closer. Thank you for loving this little one like you do, I am certain it gives deep joy to his soon to be "forever family".

Love, Chessa
