The Orphan Tree Project #2

I just finished my own little "orphan tree" this evening and had to share pictures with you. Since I was limited to using a small tabletop tree that my sister and I keep up in our room, I chose to print out small pictures (around 1-2 inches square) and mat them on white cardstock, which I then punched and hung with yarn. My sister and I focused on kids from the Philip Hayden orphanage in China (where I sponsor Margaret), since we both have come to know many of the little faces there through sponsorship newsletters and emails. We included each child's name above their picture, and plan to pray for one child each night before we go to bed. I have been so excited to do this project and am looking forward to a season of remembering precious little ones every time I walk into my room!

Hello Annie and Lydia..

Your tree is so well done, and I enjoyed seeing the pictures. Thank you for sharing! I know these photo reminders to pray will be good for all of us.

Much love,
Aunt Alison
