Today was literally a "cloudy" day...rainy skies outside, a mountain of textbook readings to trudge through, school assignments, and papers to write...sigh. But after all the cares and struggles of the day, I opened my email inbox tonight to find a beautiful ray of sunshine brought to me across cyberspace from China. New pictures and news of my sweet little sponsor girl brought a smile to my face and cheered my spirits. How I miss this precious little one, but how grateful to G0d I am that I get to be a part of her amazing life, even from a distance. And how I thank Him for the opportunity to have visited her in person this summer, because now I can look at her pictures knowing her spunky little personality and who she is. I can look at her little pigtails and picture how her dark brown hair curls up at the tips. I can see her chubby little cheeks and fingers and remember what it was like to cuddle her on my lap or give her kisses. The face I see smiling at me on my computer screen now brings back memories of hearing her laugh and dancing down the halls together to the tune of her giggles. Oh precious girl....do you realize how I miss you? How my heart laughs and cries at the same time when I remember the days I spent with you and all the things you were and did which made me fall so in love with you?Oh friends reading...do you know anyone who might want to welcome my little girl into their family? My burden and constant prayer right now is for G0d to raise up an amazing Chr1st1an family to bring my Margaret home. Could you or someone you know be the ones He calls to begin this great adventure?
Wearing the sweatshirt I sent her last Christmas...

Special pictures hand made by my NiuNiu girl for her sponsors. Just look at those sweet little hand prints and green scribbles...awww!

Feelin' your heart, Annie!!
I would adopt her in a second if I could! :) May the Lord provide for her a Christian family soon!
Molly
P.S.- LOVE your blog banner/header!!! Did you make that??
AWW! What a cute little girl! I would adopt her in a second too, if I could! :)
Trusting in G0d's plan for this precious little girl!
I love your new blog look! :)
Glad you both like the new "look". I did make the header, Molly, just using photoshop elements...nothing too difficult! I thought Hope Now should get a little update for Fall! :)
I love the picture of her with the glasses!! Cuteness!
ps. don't you like your red sidebar???
Me too, Lydia! It's my desktop background right now.
I do indeed love my red sidebar...thank you for the idea. You always have such a good sense of design! :)
Annie~
Your little girlie is so adorable! I will be praying that a Christian family opens their hearts to her soon...what organization are you sponsoring her through again?
*~Anneliese~*
Isn't she? :)
I'm sponsoring her through the Philip Hayden Foundation (www.chinaorphans.org)...they take amazing care of special needs sweeties like her!
How absolutely adorable! They are all so precious and cuddly. I'd love to bring them all home!
Yes our second daughter is also from PHF. She was Vira (Chinese name is Shuangshuang). We left Christmas eve 2008 to bring her home. That was when I got to hold meet and hold Ting Ting for the first time.
PHF is an absolutely amazing organization!
We really appreciate all the prayers. We have taken the first step and it is up to God to work out the details. So now we wait...
Annie,
I am blown away by your website! How precious your heart is for the Lord and the children at Philip Hayden! I read the first couple of entries and wept. Thank you for praying for those treasures at Shepherd's Field. Our Philip lived there for all but two months of his life until we came to bring him home in June of 2008. He received so much love and nurturing there. We can never begin to thank Tim and Pam and all of the staff at PHF. We currently sponsor Ahna, and we hope to visit the village when we go back to China soon to adopt our little Eli. He lives in another province, but we are already arranging a trip to PHF.
God bless you,
Janet, Kevin, Ted, Philip, and waiting for Eli
