I found this video on GodTube today, and just had to share it with you all. The number of orphans is beyond comprehension or understanding, and this little clip will make you more aware of that than ever. The global body of Christ needs a big heart to meet this need, one that beats like that of the Father to the Fatherless. So, I ask you (and myself): how big is your heart? What can you do right now to care for even one of 143 million? Like my dear friend Mrs. Knutsen said to me once before her death a few years ago, "if every Christian family adopted just one orphan, think what we could do!" You may not be old enough for or specifically called to the ministry of adoption within your own family right now, but there is something you can do, with however much time, money, and ability God has so gifted you. It's all His anyway, isn't it? So, how big is your heart? Big enough to reach for one child in need?
(Bye the way, you'll have to pause the songs on my playlist to hear the music with this video)

That is so sobering. Makes me want to cry. It makes me mad to think of how selfish we are (me included!).
God has big plans for these sweet kids!! I'm just praying that He moves MIGHTILY in our generation NOW, that hearts might be burdened for this cause. That the church will unite to support eachother in adoptions and to take on this great crisis as GOd called us to care for the orphans. It's time we step up!
Amen, Sis-tah! :)
This is an amazing video, it really makes you realize how many orphans there really is world-wide. And you just want to take them all in, but that isn't possible, so we just have to help one at a time! Thanks for sharing!
Me like your blog!
over and out!
