Blogging Vision

Alright, I know it may seem weird starting off a blog with a “statement of purpose,” but I just want to give readers an idea of what they can expect from Hope Now. About five years ago, God gradually began softening my heart towards the mission of orphans and adoption, subjects I had never thought much of before. He used various individuals, books, His Word, and so many other means to get my attention and place this special burden on my heart for caring for the least of these. Various other ministries and opportunities have increased my vision, and it is my goal to encourage likeminded young adults (and older ones too!), and maybe inspire those who may not have considered God’s amazing heart for the fatherless very deeply before. I pray that this blog might accomplish at least some of that goal as I share about the people and resources God has used to create awareness of the need to “show hope” in my life. I also hope this can be a center of ideas for teens, and we can all encourage each other with practical ways to care for orphans even in our own communities or with limited resources. Above all, though, may Christ be honored in this endeavor. Welcome to my blog!
